St. Andrew participates in the National School Lunch Program. The National School Lunch Program is a federally assisted meal program operating in public and nonprofit private schools and residential child care institutions. It provides nutritionally balanced, free breakfast and lunches to children each school day. The program was established under the National School Lunch Act, signed by President Harry Truman in 1946. Students may also bring lunch to school. Ready-made food is required since microwave ovens are not provided. Thermos bottles are permitted, but may not be filled with carbonated beverages. We maintain and encourage the practice of healthy eating. Students should not bring glass bottles, soft drinks or excessive amounts of candy. Parents may not drop off lunches from carry out restaurants. Crediting lunch is not an acceptable practice and will only be permitted in rare circumstances. All lunch charges must be paid by the end of each week. Student may not leave the school grounds for lunch. Below are our lunch menus:
